HCS200 cables are designed primarly for industrial datacommunications. Taking advantage of the durability and toughness of HCS optical fibers, these tight buffer cables are available in simplex, duplex or multi breakout configurations. The heavy-duty construction with a PE jacket is particuliarly suitable for the UV, chemical and moisture environments.
Two types of HCS200 cable constructions : • “Zero Kevlar” construction • Cables with Kevlar

These tight buffer cables are available in simplex, duplex or multi breakout configurations. The HCS fibers are surrounded by high strength aramid yarn and a tough 2,5mm diameter PVC jacket. The “Breakout” versions are available with 2, 4 or 6 fibers (other on request). A heavy duty construction with an external PE jacket is adapted to harsh industrial environment.

"V-SYSTEM" Cables : HCS200 Zero Kevlar
"V-SYSTEM" Cables : HCS200 Zero Kevlar
The HCS “V-system” cable is a low cost cabling system compatible with the Hewlett-Packard (Agilent) line of Versatile Link 650nm and 850nm receivers and transmitters. These cables built with HCS200 fiber and without aramid yarn are an alternative to the plastic fiber with high performances at comparable cost. Compared with plastic fiber, the 2,2 mm simplex version provide twice the short term tensile strength, one third the minimum bend radius, and up to 10 times greater long term tensile strength and flexing capability. Compatible with crimp and cleave V-Pin connectors.
