KTRAV-T10 and KTRAV-T12 fiber-optic hermetic feedthroughs are available without flange for vacuum and ultra-high vacuum applications. They provide a high level of hermeticity down to 10-11 mbar.l/s.

The KTRAV-T10/T12 series consists of low-profile fiber-optic feedthroughs designed for ultra-high vacuum (UHV) applications. These versions come without flanges and can be laser-welded onto stainless steel flanges when required.
Two configurations are available:
- KTRAV-T10 – Reconfigurable design,
- KTRAV-T12 – Ruggedized design.
KTRAV-T10 Reconfigurable Feedthrough
The KTRAV-T10 features removable internal parts, allowing our production team to replace the optical fiber upon customer request. This version is available with an FC/PC interface for single-mode fibers, gradedindex multimode fibers, and step-index multimode fibers with a maximum cladding diameter of 125 μm. It can also be supplied with an SMA interface, compatible with large-core step-index multimode fibers ranging from 100 μm to 1000 μm, including low-OH, high-OH, and solarization-resistant fibers.
KTRAV-T12 Ruggedized Feedthrough
The KTRAV-T12 is a rugged, sealed version with no removable internal parts, offering enhanced mechanical stability. It is optimized for polarization-maintaining (PM) fibers and available with either FC/APC or FC/PC adapters. Other fiber types with a maximum cladding diameter of 125 μm can also be accommodated.
Hermetic Performance
- KTRAV-T10: hermeticity better than 10-10 mbar·l/s
- KTRAV-T12: hermeticity better than to 10-11 mbar·l/s
Note: the feedthroughs can be supplied laser-welded to a 304L stainless steel flange (CF, KF, or ISO). For more details, refer to our datasheets:
