Well-known for its range of hermetic feedthroughs for vacuum and cryogenic environments, SEDI-ATI is expanding its range with the KTRAV-MTP. Equipped with MTP®/MPO connectors, it offers a capacity of up to 24 optical fibers, such as SMF-28 or GI50/125 µm in ribbons. These connectors are available in male or female versions, as well as PC or APC finitions.
The KTRAV-MTP is very compact. It comes in the form of a barrel measuring 13.7 mm in diameter and 89 mm in length, including connectors. It is designed to be laser-welded directly onto a stainless steel wall or flange mounted on a cryostat. It thus ensures reliable optical transmission of signals between the ambient environment and the very low-temperature environment, while preserving vacuum integrity.
The KTRAV-MTP is available as a weldable component with or without a flange and accepts both male and female MTP®/MPO connectors.
