Singlemode and multimode fiber optic couplers & splitters

SEDI-ATI manufactures multimode fiber-optic couplers using a proprietary process based on a wavefront division technology. This unique manufacturing method intrinsically ensures our multimode couplers are highly mode insensitive and achromatic.

They are widely used to both combine and split optical signals in optical fibers for sensing applications over a broad wavelength range from UV to NIR.

SEDI-ATI multimode fiber-optic couplers are available in various product lines for deployment in environments requiring achromaticity, modal insensitivity, rigorous reliability, or high-temperature handling.

They are made of optical fibers with core diameters ranging from 50 µm to 1000 μm.

We also offer fused SM and PM couplers from our partnership with the manufacturer Gould Fiber Optics.
