Outdoor optical fiber cables

SEDI-ATI by Fiber Optics Group offers special ruggedized cables for outdoor applications in complex or extreme environments.

The assembly is carried out in accordance with the specifications of the outdoor in extreme environment:

• resistance immersion;
• dynamic use;
• excellent abrasion resistance;
• high tensile strength.

The ø 4.5 mm simplex ruggedized cable for outdoor applications accepts SM, MM GI 50 or 62.5 μm and Launch 105 optical fibers, even in Rad-hard versions.

Compatible with cable chain.

Thanks to this reinforced insulation, the fiber can be used in industrial, energy, defense or marine environments, or for civil, military, datacommunication applications, where moisture or water is a real threat for other conventional solutions.

This special cable has been tested against fire, traction, hermeticity, bend and vehicle passage resistance.
