SEDI-ATI by Fiber Optics Group exhibits its deployable single-use fiber-optic spools from November 27 to 29, 2025 at the Parc des Expositions (Porte de Versailles) during the Defence Innovation Forum.
We are pleased to announce our participation in the Defence Innovation Forum, which will take place from November 27 to 29, 2025!
We will have the opportunity to present our single-use deployable spools, which one of them will be mounted directly on a drone. These wire-guide spools enable remote control of a vehicle or drone in any extreme environment without endangering human life.
Thanks to this solution, it is now possible to access very difficult or steep locations with a wire-guided vehicle or drone. Our spool is never a ‘leash’ for the drone and ensures permanent, real-time communication between the vehicle and the control station. The drone is guided via fiber-optics, which avoids the constraints of power cables, information transfer and heavy, cumbersome installation.
