David is an Optical Engineer, graduated from the Institut d’Optique Graduate School (IOGS, formerly SupOptique) in 2004. He began his career in 2005 at Deutsch, now SCM within the Esaris Industries group, where he worked on the implementation and installation of fiber-optic solutions in geophysical environments. He subsequently carried out an optical simulation assignment at Sodern.
David joined SEDI-ATI in 2011 as an Optical Design Engineer within the R&D department. In 2019, he was appointed Head of Methods and Industrialization, overseeing the transfer of products from R&D to production and the optimization of manufacturing processes. In this role, he also contributed to improving production operators’ working conditions through the development of dedicated work instructions, tools and equipment designed to facilitate operations and reduce ergonomic risks.
Since August 2026, David has been Business Line Manager (BLM) at SEDI-ATI, overseeing product lines and leveraging more than 20 years of experience in optical engineering, fiber-optic technologies, R&D and industrialization.
